City of South Jordan to Host Press Conference on Firefighter Death

The City of South Jordan will hold a press conference to provide an update and offer additional details regarding the unexpected death of South Jordan Firefighter Corban Summers, who passed away while on duty on April 21, 2025.

WHY:
Firefighter Corban Summers was a 23-year veteran of the South Jordan Fire Department. Known for his dedication, kindness, and warm personality, his passing is a tremendous loss to the department and the South Jordan community. Chief Dawson will provide any available updates and offer remarks honoring Firefighter Summers' life and service.
